RAID advocates for binding corporate
accountability frameworks, particularly the
development of international norms on the human
rights responsibilities of companies. A major
focus of RAID's work involves holding companies
that fail to adhere to the OECD Guidelines for
Multinational Enterprises to account.
RAID has been at the forefront to hold companies
to account for failing to adhere to the OECD
Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. RAID
filed the first case in 2001 and has since been
involved in filing approximately two dozens
complaints, including spearheading the filing of
all the complaints against the companies alleged
to be involved in the illegal export of natural
resources in the Democratic Republic of
Congo.

strives to strengthen corporate accountability
for human rights through the collective efforts
and advocacy of grassroots groups and NGOs around
the world. For more information, go to: www.escr-net.org
