  The Private Military and Security Companies’ (PMSC) International Code of Conduct (ICoC) was introduced in 2010 and has been signed by over 700 companies from 70 countries.

• UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights

  The UN Guiding Principles state explicitly that the responsibility of business enterprises to respect human rights applies to all enterprises. The GPs rely on self-policing by business.
